Walker Electronics Limited was founded in 1952 in Surrey, England when Mr John Walker (Hon. FBHI) first produced the 'Meridian', an electronic watch timer. This at the time revolutionary product, allowed the watch maker/repairer to time a watch in a matter of minutes rather than days!

The next company progression was to ultrasonic cleaning tanks and led us to examine clock, watch and jewellery cleaning fluids. Walker Electronics Ltd then diversified into the Dental market introducing the first ultraosnic cleaners to dentistry in the mid 1970's, again developing specialist-cleaning solutions to meet the exacting needs of dental surgeons.

Since then the product range has grown to include specialist solutions for many applications including veterinary, chiropody and industry. Most recent development include an ultrasonic cleaner based on a PIC chip which controls every aspect of the cleaning cycle and records data which can be printed or sent to a PC via a USB conection.

Mr John Walker, the founder of the company still takes an active roll as Chairman with his wife Wynne as the company secretary, however the day to day running of the business is left to Brian J Everitt, the managing director since 1992.
